Welcome to the Bobath Centre website - A national charity helping children with cerebral palsy

How to book an appointment

1  Ring The Bobath Centre for an information pack or email us on info@bobathlondon.co.uk.

2  Arrange for a referral from your child's doctor or consultant, with the following information, to be sent to the Director of Therapy Services:

•  Full medical details, including birth history
•  Type of appointment - two-week block of therapy or consultation
•  The name, address and telephone of your Primary Care Trust (if the child is being funded by the Health Authority)

3  You will then be sent a Parents' Questionnaire to complete and return.

4  A senior therapist then examines all the paperwork to ensure that appropriate treatment is offered.

5  An application for funding is then sought from your PCT.

6  When funding is agreed - either by the PCT or privately - then The Bobath Centre will contact you to arrange a mutually convenient appointment time.

7  The Bobath Centre is an out-patient centre but a list of local accommodation can be provided on request.
