Supporting the Bobath Centre

The Bobath Centre is a registered charity and we rely on donations so that we can treat as many children as possible. We need to raise around £1.2 million a year to keep our doors open.

The centre keeps treatment fees as low as possible and we are even able to provide reduced or occasionally free treatment for children whose families who are unable to pay - but only if funds allow.

How you can help

There are lots of ways to support our work; whether you choose to run a marathon, climb a mountain, or simply make a donation, you will make a difference to the lives of disabled children.

'Comfort and Joy' is a compilation of folk and traditional Christmas songs recorded by Jennie Cassidy.  Jennie is a professional singer whose daughter attended the Centre for therapy, and has kindly donated her time and talent to record this CD.

All profits will go to the Bobath Centre, and at only £9.99 each (including p&p) 'Comfort and Joy' is perfect for the Christmas season and a great way to support the Centre.

Buy a Bobath Centre T-shirt

Support the Centre by ordering one of our exclusive t-shirts.  They are an exclusive design and bear our new logo, which was designed for the Centre by world renowned artist Storm Thorgerson.

The t-shirts are 100% cotton, and are available in adult sizes Medium, Large and X-large.  At just £10 each plus postage, they are a great way to support our work.

Celebration gifts

Whether you are celebrating a wedding anniversary or giving thanks for a life well-lived, you can ask your friends and family to donate to the Bobath Centre.

We can provide you with information about the charity to explain how their donations will be used, and we will acknowledge all gifts of over £25.  We can also provide you with a list of donors, unless they wish to remain anonymous.

Leave a gift in your will
For 50 years, the Bobath Centre has had a positive influence on the lives of children with cerebral palsy. By leaving us a gift in your will, you will be helping us to help the children we see live happier, more independent and fulfilling lives.

A gift in your will can be as large or small as you like.  Whether large or small, you can rest assured that your gift  will be put to the best possible use to improve the quality of life for children with cerebral palsy. If you struggle to make regular donations, a legacy gift is the best alternative.

If you are thinking of leaving a legacy, our fundraising department will be happy to assist, but we do advise you to speak to a solicitor.
